As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver (Auto) in Normal, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and fostering a secure environment for an innovative automotive location. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and engage with people to provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, including parking lots and automotive facilities, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or irregularities encountered during patrols.
• Communicate clearly with supervisors, team members, and client representatives regarding incidents and ongoing activities.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and helping to deter unauthorized entry.
• Support emergency response efforts as required by site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities and incidents as part of site documentation requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• A security-related guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
