Responsibilities

Job Summary
This position contributes to supporting cost containment and operational efficiency, leading supply management initiatives, and bringing innovation to HonorHealth. This includes developing and participating in short-term tactics and long range plans that result in optimal use of supplies, services, inventory and performance. Takes an active institutional and facility-based leadership role with physician and executive leadership. Develops supply chain management strategies and in addressing daily supply chain operations, including process reengineering, utilizations management, supply chain systems coordination, customer service, receiving, inventory management, asset management, and distribution. Participates in industry engagement to design, implement, and advocate supply chain best practices in conjunction with procure to pay, logistics, inventory management, informatics, and category management functions. Leads institutional supply chain process improvement programs to reduce defects and eliminate waste. Leverages LEAN Six Sigma and project management methodologies. Produces appropriate project charters, plans, and accomplishments reports.
Essential Functions
  • Demonstrates customer service excellence through proper requirements gathering and partnerships. Ensures coordinated supply chain delivery across key functions. Contributes to site and institutional supply and service expense reduction initiatives in support of mission, values, and objectives. Provides leadership and direction for daily supply chain operations staff including hiring, training, and performance management. Fosters a positive learning culture that supports staff development. Designs and implements required Standard Operating Procedures aligned with institutional policies. Learns and deploys programs and technology articulated within the Supply Chain Shared Services strategic plan.
  • Serves as the primary site-based interface to the Practice and Administration for all supply chain functions, Actively participates in the standardization/value analysis process, in providing customer service to end-users.
  • Oversees the staff and ensure adequate staffing levels, inclusive of hiring/onboarding, evaluating, managing performance, coaching and developing employees ensuring employee productivity, quality of work, and alignment of goals with our mission, vision, and values. Ensure compliance with all policies, financial stewardship by being accountable for the financial integrity around development and maintenance of department budget.
  • Facilitates supplier performance management including business reviews, product issues tracking and resolution, and contract compliance.
  • This position will be responsible for managing and adhering to Shared Services and the site operating budgets, as well as understanding and contributing to meeting targets and plans for the overall enterprise Supply Chain Management budget. The position will have responsibility for oversight and management of both site based and shared services
Education
  • Master's Degree in related field - Preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in supply chain management or related field. - Required
Experience
  • 10 years management experience - Preferred
  • 8 years management experience - Required
Licenses and Certifications
  • Driver License - Required
  • Certified Materials Resource Professional (CMRP) LEAN Six Sigma Black Belt - Preferred
