Our team in Military Aircraft is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join them. This role is located in East Aurora, NY and can have a hybrid work schedule (3 days on-site / 2 days remote) and reports to the Finance Director of Military Global Sustainment and Mission Systems.

You will work across multiple divisions to provide decision support for the future growth trajectory and margin expansion of our Military Global Sustainment business. A successful candidate must have a strategic mindset, passion to seamlessly translate ambiguous data to actionable insights, a strong ability to analyze financial outcomes and to communicate effectively with a diverse set of stakeholders across multiple disciplines.

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Finance and business partnership to enable the development and execution of division strategy through robust financial modeling and sound tactical decision support

  • Leading the development of governance and control processes related to Military Global Sustainment margin expansion initiatives

  • Supporting the business in managing P&L performance

    • Coordinating with Program Management to monitor and drive accountability on sales, gross margin, and operating margin forecasts

    • Build standard analytical reporting tools and dashboards

    • Ad-hoc special project support that may include business case development, new business proposal support, net present value evaluation, and scenario sensitivity analysis

  • Assisting the Military Aircraft Group Finance team with internal financial reporting functions as required, including monthly and quarterly reports and analyses, and supporting the annual budget process across the Military Aircraft Group divisions

  • Responsibilities are dynamic and can span across divisions

  • Actively advocating for continuous improvement, efficiency, and means to increase value to internal/external customers

To be considered for this role, here's what you will need to bring with you:

  • A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related area

  • 5+ years of finance/analytics experience

  • Experience influencing and partnering with key stakeholders within the business

  • Accounting experience; preferred

  • Experience with Power BI; preferred

  • Experience with OneStream; preferred

Salary Range Transparency:

Buffalo, NY $85,000.00-$120,000.00 Annually

Salary Range Disclaimer

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
