Job Title: Data Center Inside Sales Account Executive - Acquisition Territory
Location: Lenovo Headquarters - Morrisville, NC

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Inside Sales Account Executive to join our Data Center Solutions team, focused on driving growth in an acquisition territory. This role is responsible for identifying, engaging, and closing new business opportunities within targeted accounts that have limited or no existing relationship with Lenovo. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data center technologies, a hunter mentality, and a passion for building customer relationships from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

  • New Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new customer opportunities within the acquisition territory, leveraging outbound calling, digital engagement, and partner collaboration.
  • Solution Selling: Position and sell Lenovo's data center infrastructure solutions including servers, storage, networking, and hybrid cloud offerings tailored to customer needs.
  • Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely progression of opportunities through the sales cycle.
  • Customer Engagement: Develop trusted advisor relationships with key decision-makers and influencers across IT and business units.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with field sales, technical specialists, and channel partners to drive joint sales strategies and maximize customer value.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to effectively position Lenovo solutions.
  • Performance Metrics: Meet or exceed quarterly sales targets, activity goals, and customer acquisition KPIs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field.
  • 3+ years of inside sales experience, preferably in data center or enterprise IT solutions.
  • Proven track record of success in new customer acquisition and quota attainment.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and sales engagement platforms.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience selling to mid-market or enterprise accounts.
  • Understanding of hybrid cloud, virtualization, and edge computing.
  • Channel sales experience or working with resellers/distributors.
