This is a hybrid role based in Redmond, WA. The role will start out as a 7 month engagement and could extend up to 18 months.

The main function of a Senior Systems Engineer is to design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade Windows-based and Android-based Teams device solutions and collaboration platforms. This role focuses on ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable services across global environments, including Windows and Android based Teams Rooms, Surface Hub, Teams phones, Teams Panels endpoints. The engineer will troubleshoot complex technical issues, optimize system performance, and drive automation to enhance operational efficiency and user experience.

What You'll Do



  • Architect, configure, and maintain collaboration device infrastructure and environments to meet critical business and security objectives.
  • Deploy and manage modern endpoint management and device provisioning technologies for comprehensive device oversight.
  • Implement automation using scripting and cloud services to streamline configuration, monitoring, and remediation processes, boosting operational efficiency.
  • Maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, deployment processes, and troubleshooting guides, ensuring clarity and consistency.
  • Lead impactful projects focused on collaboration device lifecycle management, Zero Trust migration strategies, and operating system security hardening.
  • Proactively monitor system health and performance, identifying and resolving complex issues across collaboration device endpoints.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and operations teams to integrate new technologies and continuously improve existing infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Windows and Android operating systems, collaboration devices, networking, conditional access, and identity management.
  • Ensure rigorous compliance with security standards and actively participate in audits and governance reviews.
  • This role operates on a standard 40-hour work week. All necessary standard equipment will be provided.


What You'll Bring



  • 5+ years of experience in systems engineering with a focus on Windows and enterprise technologies.
  • 5+ years of experience with Endpoint management (Intune).
  • Expertise in enterprise collaboration platforms, including Windows and Android-based devices.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Android OS deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management.
  • Experience with modern endpoint management solutions, cloud-based identity services, and identity governance.
  • Proficiency in scripting (e.g., PowerShell) and automation frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture and modern device management strategies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proven ability to lead cross-functional technical projects.
  • Ability to handle hardware up to 10 lbs.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Prior experience with enterprise technology ecosystems is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Change Advisory Board (CAB) intake processes.
