Now Hiring: Industrial Electrician

Location: Warren, MI

Schedule + Pay:

(1st Shift - $32.26/hr.) (2nd Shift - $32.51/hr.) (3rd Shift - $32.56/hr.)

We're looking for an experienced industrial electrician - someone skilled in rewiring machinery and troubleshooting equipment such as cutters, mills, and presses. This is not a residential electrician role.


Overview:


  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems on industrial equipment, including cutters, mills, presses, conveyors, robotics, and automated machinery.
  • Perform electrical installations, wiring, panel building, and equipment upgrades in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ensure all work meets industrial electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues using schematics, ladder diagrams, meters, and diagnostic instruments.
  • Troubleshoot AC/DC circuits, three-phase power, motors, drives, sensors, and control systems.
  • Run and install conduit, wiring, power drops, and wireways; build and label electrical panels per line-ups and documentation.
  • Support preventive and predictive maintenance to improve equipment uptime and extend asset life.
  • Update prints/drawings, recommend spare parts, and document repairs and modifications.
  • Prioritize maintenance requests and respond quickly to support production needs.
  • Perform incidental mechanical repairs when needed to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout practices, and government/industry regulations.


Required Competencies:



  • Strong knowledge of industrial electrical codes, safety practices, and high-voltage systems.
  • Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Skilled in reading schematics and ladder logic; familiarity with PLC troubleshooting preferred.
  • Ability to work independently, maintain urgency, and deliver clean, professional installations.
  • Effective communication, teamwork, and documentation skills.


Education & Experience:



  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Journeyman Electrician card or equivalent industrial electrical experience.
  • Ability to pass an Electrician aptitude test.
