  • The Material Handler is responsible for the efficient movement, storage, and tracking of raw materials, components, and finished goods within the manufacturing facility.
  • This role ensures timely delivery of materials to production areas and maintains accurate inventory records to support continuous operations.
Responsibilities:
Your daily responsibilities will include:
  • Following all company safety guidelines and protocols.
  • Receiving, inspecting, and verifying incoming materials against purchase orders.
  • Transporting materials to storage or production areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
  • Preparing and staging materials for production according to work orders.
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records and performing cycle counts.
  • Assisting with loading and unloading trucks and preparing outbound shipments.
  • Reporting discrepancies, damages, or shortages promptly.
  • Keeping work areas clean and organized to support a safe environment.
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs consistently.
  • Working up to 10 hours per day and weekends as needed.
  • Holding a valid driver's license.
  • Passing a background check and drug screening.

Preferred Experience & Skills:
  • 1-3 years of material handling or warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification preferred).
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures for handling hazardous materials.
