DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Clerical Assistant 3, your ability to analyze and interpret policies, procedures, and regulations is essential. You will be expected to efficiently prioritize work and complete all work in a timely manner in accordance with WCAB requirements. The incumbent must possess a solid working knowledge of all aspects of office procedures and processes of the Board. This position verifies incoming courtesy copies of the Petition for Review (PFR) with case information in the Workers' Compensation Automation and Integration System (WCAIS), verifies all testimony is available and viewable in WCAIS, obtains any missing physical evidence items, and sends completed record to Commonwealth Court via Pac Files (electronically filed to Commonwealth Court). Your work will include reviewing and maintaining a record of cases appealed to and returned from the Commonwealth and Supreme Courts, updating WCAIS and closing out appeal records as they are remitted from the Higher Courts. - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to two days per week, upon successful completion of the training period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- One year of moderately complex clerical experience; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
