Position Summary:

The Coordinator Inbound/Outbound Operator plays a vital role in Supply Chain Operations, executing inventory management and conducting inbound/outbound analysis with minimal supervision. As a subject matter expert in SWOP/EWM and SAP processing, they ensure efficient freight flow by managing and distributing tasks related to picking, loading, and receiving, thereby meeting critical time goals and fulfilling daily customer orders. This self-starting position involves troubleshooting issues, leading small projects, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the distribution center. The coordinator collaborates closely with frontline teams and site leadership.

This is a fully on-site role, Monday -Thursday 5 a.m.- 3:30 p.m. in our Hazleton, PA warehouse location.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily operations by assigning workloads through SWOP/SAP EWM for all inventory, inbound, and outbound functions (e.g., Picking, Loading, Receiving) based on scheduled appointments and priorities
  • Manage trailer movements to and from the dock and align trailers with the appropriate shipping/receiving doors
  • Conduct periodic audits, bills of lading (BOL), ICC, and Quality to ensure compliance and accuracy in filing BOLs at the end of each shift
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with team members and leadership regarding daily workload and business objectives
  • Address flow issues and problems raised by frontline employees promptly to minimize downtime and maintain operational continuity
  • Compile daily reports on workload status and overdue carriers for outbound appointments
  • Ensure frontline employees and external partners adhere to established flow procedures
  • Support operational initiatives and projects aimed at improving People, Quality, Service, and reducing total delivered costs
  • Uphold facility and departmental guidelines, processes, and SOPs while balancing business and employee needs
  • Attend all mandatory training sessions throughout the year
  • Assist with inventory control tasks, including inbound/outbound management, order maintenance, and FIFO processes
  • Support fill rate initiatives by managing order packets, pending/hold items, and pre-picking to ensure 100% shipment to customers
  • Ensure site security by responding to front gate calls outside standard business hours

Requirements:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient in technology and software applications (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with labor planning and asset management (e.g., forklifts, sit-downs)
  • Experience in training and mentoring peers
  • Basic ability to read, write, and speak English is required to comply with verbal directions, signs, policies and procedures
  • Experience in a logistics operations environment ,Warehouse Management Systems (EWM), and SAP a plus!
  • 1+ year background in manufacturing or warehouse settings, strongly preferred

  • Conflict resolution skills to address and resolve issues effectively while maintaining positive relationships
