Security Officer - Manufacturing Center Patrol - Full Time

As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Center Patrol - Full Time in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an unarmed patrol professional with Allied Universal, you will actively monitor and patrol a dynamic food and beverage location, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining approachable and visible to guests and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, offer outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly, all while embodying our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork in a caring, people-first environment.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the food and beverage facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe and report any unusual conditions, hazards, or potential threats within the location.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials as required, and reporting unauthorized individuals.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including communicating with local authorities and Allied Universal management as needed.
• Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions and provide reassurance to employees, visitors, and/or vendors within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
