HonorHealth is looking for a Network Operations Coordinator to support the the "brains of the operation" at the Command Hub at the Dunlap location. In this role you would be responsible for staffing the float pool positions and work with the RNs, float pool supervisors and other departments to ensure that staffing needs are met, address any call outs, responsible for bed placements, along with transfers within the same facility and intra-facility. The ideal candidate must meet the minimum requirements of a HSD/GED and have at least one year of related experience. To ensure success in the role a medical background would be value-added, but not necessary, detailed oriented, eager to learn, possess the ability to multi-task, and be a self-starter, one who asks questions in order to gain knowledge. Responsibilities Job Summary This Network Operations Coordinator supports the activities centrally supported within the Network Operations Center, and serves as the primary point of contact for the coordination of those activities. Demonstrates flexibility and initiative to diagnose issues and provide timely resolution supporting patient safety and process efficiency. Uses automated systems to optimize capacity and staffing management. Ensure staffing and scheduling needs are maintained, coordinate all aspects of patient placement, facilitate incoming and outgoing transfers and patient flow logistics. Works closely with hospital personnel at each facility to facilitate bed and service assignment. Works to optimize staffing and patient flow by monitoring and evaluating staffing activities and prioritizing admissions and transfers from multiple sources. Essential Functions
