Job Description:

The 5 South Observation Unit supports the Emergency Department and Telemetry units by caring for lowacuity patients who require shortterm monitoring to determine if inpatient admission is needed. It's a fastpaced, teamfocused environment with strong collaboration between nurses, techs, and providers.

We are seeking a PRN Tech to support patient care activities on the 5 South Observation Unit. This role assists nursing staff with direct care, monitoring, and essential clinical tasks.

The Patient Care Technician will assist with vital signs, patient mobility, hygiene, and daily care needs while supporting nurses in a fastmoving clinical setting. Duties include performing 12lead EKGs, completing phlebotomy and specimen collection, responding to call lights, maintaining a safe environment, and communicating effectively with the care team to ensure timely, highquality patient care.

BLS certification
