Sodexo is seeking a Retail Manager 2 (Food) for our client DHL located in Atlanta, GA. Reporting to our General Manager, the Retail Manager 2 will support our food service operations including retail cafe, marketing efforts, administrative duties, FOH, and food production. This is a sorting and distribution center servicing 1500-1600 associates a day across 3 different shifts. Business increases during the holiday season and will include weekends.

This is an overnight position, the hours of the role on weekdays are 8:30pm to 6:30am, will rotate Saturdays. Saturday hours are 9am to 4:30pm.

The Retail Manager 2 will oversee about 5 hourly employees. The duties of the Retail Manager will include but not limited to:

    oversee the 3rd shift meal service
  • manage a team of 5 to 7 hourly employees during the shift
  • oversee the marketing initiatives
  • customer service

Qualifications for the Retail Manager includes experience in retail food service operations. Position requires an individual with exceptional drive and initiative, marketing experience, excellent communications skills and computer literacy.



The successful candidate will:

  • have oversight of nightly food operations and deliver a high-quality product;
  • achieve company and client financial targets and goals to include oversight of cash-handling and the POS system;
  • develop and maintain client and customer relationships;
  • have a grasp on admin duties;
  • motivate, coach, mentor and develop frontline (hourly) staff; and/or
  • ensure Sodexo standards are met to include compliance with company food and physical safety programs.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED or Equivalent
Basic Management Experience - 1 year
