About The Position The Manager, RTO Policy & Strategy oversees day-to-day execution of Ameren Transmission's RTO policy activities (including MISO, PJM, and SPP) and directly manages a team of RTO Policy Specialists. The Manager is responsible for coordinating Ameren's internal positions on stakeholder matters, advocating Ameren's interests in stakeholder meetings and building alliances with other stakeholders in furtherance of sound policies. The role requires the ability to effectively lead the team's advocacy and participation in RTO stakeholder processes; and to coordinate with Federal Regulatory Affairs to develop Ameren positions before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), as necessary. The role also requires strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively communicate and deliver a regular cadence of reporting to transmission leadership on RTO policy issues affecting transmission development and operations. In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate: Experience developing and communicating energy/transmission policy strategy to senior leadership; exceptional written and oral communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex technical issues into executive-level briefings; strong organizational skills, strategic judgment and the ability to manage multiple high-priority issues concurrently. Additional Information Ameren's selection process includes a series of interviews and may include a leadership assessment process. Specific details will be provided to qualified candidates. Compensation Range: $131,900.00 - $204,400.00At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
