UX Designer II Our client is seeking a UX Designer II to support the People Site team in creating engaging, user-centered digital experiences that help employees access important resources including benefits, wellness, pay, time away, and more. Supporting 50 countries in 19 languages, this team partners closely with designers, developers, producers, and program managers to deliver intuitive and visually compelling experiences across internal People portals. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in UX and visual design, thrives in collaborative environments, and can move seamlessly from early concepts and wireframes to polished designs ready for development. A strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX work is required.

Responsibilities
- Support the UX, UI, and visual design of key People site initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to define and execute creative concepts and design layouts
- Contribute to design system documentation and component libraries
- Work within a CMS environment to support page layouts and content updates
- Communicate design progress and project status clearly and consistently
- Maintain and support established design processes and libraries
- Participate in design reviews and incorporate stakeholder feedback
- Create interactive prototypes and design explorations as needed
- Assist with production support and ongoing site content updates
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong visual and UI design skills with exceptional attention to detail
- 2-4 years of professional UX/UI design experience
- Proficiency in Sketch and Adobe Creative Cloud
- Willingness to learn and adopt evolving design tools
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Ability to build interactive prototypes in code
- Experience writing and delivering UX specifications
- Experience designing responsive layouts across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
- Experience working within a Content Management System (CMS)
- Familiarity using AI tools within a design workflow
- Comfortable working within GitHub repositories
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
- Comfortable working in a Mac environment
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, UX, Graphic Design, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Portfolio required for consideration
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in graphic design with strong visual design sensibility
- Experience contributing to or maintaining design systems
- Familiarity with responsive design best practices
- Ability to leverage analytics and metrics to inform design decisions
- Experience designing multilingual platform experiences

- Schedule: 40 hours/week
- Hybrid 6 month contract
- Location: Cupertino, CA
- Pay Rate: $49.41/hour
