Klarman Eating Disorder CRC - 40hours
Under direction of the Program Manager, the Community Residence Counselor (CRC) provides direct patient care and participates in therapeutic milieu within the scope of defined practice. -Clear, concise, and timely documentation and shift notes. -Establishes relationships with patients that are helpful and maintains professional boundaries. -Participates in patient rounds, status checks, or teams per program guidelines. -Completes assigned patient care tasks per program guidelines and/or daily assignment sheet. -Works effectively to manage e therapeutic milieu. -Provides patients with direction and supervision as needed. -Follows established hospital & program policies, procedures, and protocols. -Communicates information regarding patient milieu/therapeutic environment to appropriate staff in a timely manner. -Communicates observations related to medication side effects, physical and emotional changes to appropriate medical staff in a timely manner. -Encourage patients in their activities of daily living. -Assesses sleep patterns and assists patients to develop more appropriate sleep cycles notifying clinical team as necessary. -Completes mandatory annual in-service requirements, including but not limited to: CPR and de-escalation. -Attends and participates in rounds and case conferences when appropriate. -Physical ability for participation in patient activities. -Supports residents with daily routines, medical reminders, meal preparation, transportation, and personal care as needed. -Other duties as assigned.
