Work Shift: Day Pay Type: Hourly Hourly Rate (if applicable): $32.25 Targeted Base Salary Range (if applicable): N/A JOB OVERVIEW: Blue Diamond Growers is looking for a creative, ambitious Social Media Content Intern to help amplify the innovation across our brands: Blue Diamond Almonds and Blue Diamond Almond Breeze. If you're passionate about social media, love great almond products, and want to tell the story of a 100+ year farming legacy meeting modern food and beverage culture, this is your chance to make an impact from day one. This is a full-time internship based out of Sacramento, CA for 3 months. RESPONSIBILITIES: ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Help concept, shoot, and produce social media content using iPhones and/ digital cameras for Blue Diamond Almonds and Almond Breeze across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook, including videos, static posts, carousels, and Stories Publish and schedule content across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook Work with content creators and agency partners to execute on the brand's social media Tell compelling brand stories that resonate with our consumers Experiment with trending formats, platform features, and viral content techniques Tailor content approach based on platform-specific best practices and audience behaviors Analyze performance metrics and post comments for qualitative insights into what resonates with consumers Monitor competitor activity and industry trends in the food and beverage space to identify what other brands are doing Provide data-driven recommendations to improve content strategy and increase engagement Support the brand team and collaborate with our Sacramento-based colleagues to ensure brand consistency across all content Stay current on social media trends and food and beverage developments MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS A college sophomore, junior, or senior currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field Must be available for program duration, or a minimum of 10 weeks (June - September) Demonstrated understanding of social media platforms and content creation Portfolio of personal or professional social media work (even class projects count!) PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES Creative storytelling ability with an eye for visual content and brand heritage Strong understanding of Instagram best practices (Reels, Stories, IGTV, post optimization) Knowledge of multi-platform social media strategies (TikTok, Facebook, X, LinkedIn) Analytical mindset with ability to interpret social media metrics Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment Passion for agriculture and food & beverage brands Appreciation for authentic brand stories and farmer narratives PHYSICAL DEMANDS Must be able to work in office/desk environment for extended periods Walking through warehouses and multiple buildings Occasional bending and lifting WORK ENVIRONMENT Occasional bending and lifting Blue Diamond Growers is an Equal Opportunity and E-Verify Employer EOE/Minorities/Females/Vet/Disability WHY BLUE DIAMOND?
