ualr.edu/continuingeducation Summary of Job Duties:The Administrative Analyst serves as the operational backbone for the Corporate and Community Education (CCE) department. This role is responsible for the technical administration of the department's registration and credentialing platforms, coordinating office activities, performing financial and HR tasks, and developing standardized administrative procedures. The occupant of this position ensures high-level service to students, instructors, and corporate partners while maintaining data integrity for university and state reporting. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy. Qualifications:

Required Education and/or Experience:

  • The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma;
  • At least two (2) years of experience in administrative support, office management, or a related field.

Preferred Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree;
  • Experience with Student Information Systems (SIS) or CRM platforms (e.g., Workday, Modern Campus, Salesforce, etc.);
  • Demonstrated experience in higher education or workforce development settings.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Systems & Technology Administration:

  • Serve as the lead backend administrator for Modern Campus Lifelong Learning (Student Information System) and Accredible (Digital Badging);
  • Provide Tier 1 technical support for instructors and students, troubleshooting registration, login, and credentialing issues;
  • Manage user access, system configurations, and customization to align with new program launches and pricing models;
  • Develop and monitor data collection workflows to ensure accuracy and compliance with university and state data restrictions.

Operational Support & Workflow Development:

  • Design, document, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all administrative and system-based workflows to ensure departmental scalability;
  • Provide technical and logistical support to Program Coordinators, serving as the internal operational expert for registration logistics;
  • Act as the primary liaison for the University's central reporting department to ensure validated data sets are provided for state and federal compliance.

Financial & Human Resources Coordination:

  • Draft and process departmental documents, including Concurrent Employment forms and instructor/vendor contracts;
  • Maintain current records of accounts receivable and payable based on course sales and corporate contracts;
  • Compile financial data to assist leadership in budget formulation and monitor expenditures within the annual budget;
  • Coordinate purchasing, vendor relationships, and travel/meeting logistics for department leadership;
  • Reconcile financial records from the point of sale (Modern Campus) into the financial system of record (Workday).

General Administrative Duties:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries regarding enrollment, pricing, and scheduling;
  • Assist students with registration, transfers, and course drops;
  • Maintain accurate, audit-ready departmental records and manage physical marketing collateral across campus;
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Comprehensive knowledge of computers and software applications (specifically MS Office, Google Workspace, and cloud-based SIS);
  • Ability to analyze complex documents to determine compliance with rules, regulations, and institutional procedures;
  • Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to develop and document structured workflows (SOPs);
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to represent the University to corporate clients and community partners;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to new technology implementations;
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
