As a Security Officer - Screening Services in Hodgkins, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor access points, conduct screening activities, and support smooth daily operations. In this role, you will remain visible, help identify security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Screen people, packages, parcels, and/or personal property entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and client-directed screening requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around screening areas, shipping and receiving zones, and perimeter access points, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Help to support traffic flow and access control at entry points by verifying credentials, directing individuals to designated areas, and documenting screening-related activity as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
