Title: Senior Accountant
Type: Permanent
Schedule: Hybrid (3 days onsite)
Compensation: $115,000-$120,000 + Bonus

Position Overview

Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its growing Finance team. This role is ideal for an accounting professional with a strong technical accounting foundation, public accounting experience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The Senior Accountant will play a key role in the monthly close process, financial reporting, audit support, and ongoing process improvement initiatives. The position offers strong exposure to senior leadership and opportunities to contribute to strategic projects across the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
  • Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and company accounting policies
  • Analyze financial results and investigate account fluctuations and variances
  • Support external audit processes and respond to auditor requests
  • Draft accounting memoranda and technical accounting documentation
  • Assist with internal control initiatives and process enhancements
  • Support financial reporting and statement preparation
  • Drive automation and process improvement efforts to increase efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on accounting-related business initiatives
  • Participate in special projects, including system implementations, integrations, and acquisitions
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA required or CPA eligible with all four exams completed
  • 3-6+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Public accounting experience required; Big 4 experience strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standards
  • Experience supporting audits and internal control environments
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
