The Assistant Controller, Financial Reporting is a senior leadership role responsible for the integrity and efficiency of the company's general ledger and monthly close cycle. Reporting directly to the Controller, this individual owns the operational heartbeat of the accounting function - managing a team of five, overseeing parent company reporting, driving ERP integration and process improvement, and playing a critical role in the company's ongoing systems transformation. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role within a deliberately structured accounting organization. Technical accounting matters are handled by a dedicated Director of Technical Accounting, allowing the Assistant Controller to focus entirely on operational excellence, team leadership, and continuous improvement of the close process. As with all roles, Medidata sets ranges based on a number of factors including function, level, candidate expertise and experience, and geographic location.

Compensation for the role will be commensurate with experience. The total expected compensation range will be between $135000 and $180000, representing the base salary (or annualized salary based on estimated hourly compensation) and target bonus. | |
