The Job

Unchained Labs is looking for a sales professional that will focus on growing our recurring revenue. This role is all about understanding our customers' needs, making sure that our customers are happily using their instruments and have what they need to get their job done. You will partner with our instrument sales teams to stay on top of key accounts and will also regularly connect with all other users. You will work closely with the marketing team to deploy attention getting campaigns that remind customers to reorder consumables. So, if you are interested in using your sales chops in a fast-pace, startup environment and working closely with outside sales and marketing teams, this could be the job for you!This position reports to the Director of Inside Sales.

We have an opening in North America; preference will be given to a candidate on the east coast; candidates in the central time zone could also be given consideration with the right qualifications.

Responsibilities



  • Manage both key accounts and a territory of customers via ongoing, daily interaction (phone, email etc.) to ensure that short term and long-term consumable needs, and revenue are captured
  • Identify additional opportunities for expanded consumable use or additional instruments as applicable and available
  • Ensure YOY growth with large recurring or consolidation of consumable orders
  • Provide quotes, pricing, order availability and follow-up on customer requests
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key end users and lab managers
  • Track, monitor and report on sales, customer trends both on consumable demand and future instrument use or expansion
  • Develop an understanding of Unchained Instruments and tailor interactions accordingly


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in the Life Sciences from a four-year college or an AA science degree
  • Three years of sales experience in the Life Science market or related business area, with large account management experience and preferably some lab research experience
  • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM, Excel, and PowerPoint required
  • Ability to work in a fast pace, dynamic team environment and apply sales techniques and strategies effectively; be willing to try, create and evaluate new sales tactics for ongoing engagement, conversion and nurturing of customers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong desire to hit the ground running, interact directly with customers, and work cross functionally with other reps; be willing to collaborate and work both individually and as a team
  • Strong ability to achieve all sales targets
