Senior Tenant Account Representative

POSITION SUMMARY:

In the role of Senior Tenant Account Representative working in Scottsdale AZ or Mount Pleasant, SC This position will focus on a portfolio of tenant accounts to post all cash, monitor non-payments, short payments and account disputes. Their duties will also include batch review and approval, training of new employees, as well as covering a Tenant Account Representitive portfolio in the employee's absence. This in collaborating with other departments across the organization they will helo indentify and resolve tenant account issues. The ideal candidate for this position is able to work as part of a dynamic team, and able to work in an environment where work assignments and priorities change frequently.

This position reports to Accounts Receivable Manager works closely with Accounting and Property Management teams

THE RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Accurate and timely posting of cash for a portfolio of tenants
  • Pull check images and ACH information from US Bank using Vantage Point
  • Research and coordinate the resolution of account issues and discrepancies
  • Late Fee Waivers and reversals
  • Security depost and tenant refunds
  • Credit apply batches
  • Tenant inquiries
  • Aged delinquency (detailed) review
  • Reconcile Accounts
  • Prepare rent review(daily)
  • Follow up with tenant on Aging items/short payments
  • Coordinate with other departments per se escalation rules
  • Collections Workflow in Salesforce
  • Contact appropriate departments for copies of work orders, support, etc.
  • Review and Approve Tenant Account Representative batches
  • Train new employees
  • Cover other employee portfolio in their absence
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

THE OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:



  • You have a High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • You have 2+ years experience in Cash Application - preferred
  • You have 2+ years experience in Customer Service and/or Collections - Preferred
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • You have intermediate to advanced level knowledge with MS Excel, Work and Outlook
  • You have excellent deductive resoning and problem solving skills with a willingness to research
  • You have a strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
  • You hare a team player with a willingness to help department meet goals and responsibilities
  • You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities.
  • You are confident and competent. You are diplomatic, professional and exercise great judgment in developing and maintaining excellent business relationships within the business
  • You are excited about delivering results and take pride in a proven track record in delivering.
  • You are a skilled negotiator focused on the client; your constant curiosity fosters your innovative style and you can equally execute ideas given to you
