Job Description and Requirements At Synopsys, we're at the heart of the innovations that change the way we work and play. Self-driving cars. Artificial Intelligence. The cloud. 5G. The Internet of Things. These breakthroughs are ushering in the Era of Smart Everything. And we're powering it all with the world's most advanced technologies for chip design and software security. If you share our passion for innovation, we want to meet you. Our System Design Solutions (SDS) services team delivers tool, methodology, design creation, verification and implementation expertise to enable leading edge customers to complete their most challenging SoC design projects. Our customers range from industry leaders to start-ups, developing products for applications such as telecommunications, wireless, broadband, automotive, AI, and high-performance computing. Our services work ranges from collaborating with customers to provide specific design skills and assistance for an SoC development, providing design flow and methodology deployment, performing RTL2GDSII implementation for blocks, sub-systems and full SoCs, and executing full SoC turnkey design from specification to parts. We're looking for an . Does this sound like a good role for you? In this role you will perform SoC DFT architecture, implementation and verification at block and chip levels as well as provide DFT design flow methodology expertise. As a Staff DFT SoC engineer you will play a critical role in many aspects of our customers chip design process, including DFT methodology development, DFT planning & architecture, test insertion, ATPG pattern generation and post silicon test support. You will be responsible for assisting our customers in addressing their most challenging DFT issues using Synopsys' DFT technology. As a Staff DFT SoC Engineer, you will work either as an individual contributor or as a project lead for the DFT function, depending on the size and scope of the project. Staff DFT SoC Engineers may be assigned to projects that range from turnkey design implementation projects done by SDS members off-site to joint design assistance projects where members of the SDS team work closely with our customers design team members at the customer or SDS site. Key Qualifications:
- Implement and verify DFT solutions for customers advanced SoC designs to successfully meet customer requirements and achieve first pass silicon success
- Architect DFT SoC solutions for customers advanced SoC designs to successfully meet customer requirements and achieve first pass silicon success
- Develop and improve DFT scripts, flows, and best practices to meet growing Customer SoC demands
- Excel in skill areas including DFT technical expertise, team work, customer focus, and communication.
- Drive the pre-sales process through planning and scoping of projects.
