- Works on highly complex or enterprise projects that architects an efficient way to manage data across a diverse but unified data ecosystem. Evaluate current business systems, processes and tools
- Responsible for analyzing the existing and future consolidations of system/applications/home grown application and ensuring its efficiency and accuracy to support business functions and operational processes
- Ability to help document, map, design, and represent processes and data
- Data transformation mapping and data flow diagrams
- The ability to work with multiple areas of the business in order to document current and potential future states of business processes and workflows
- This could include our manufacturing systems, program and project management systems, and our interfaces with Engineering and other key business areas
- Helps develop data strategies and translates them into data integration frameworks and reporting to enable business analytics
- Help create a standard common business vocabulary, express strategic data requirements, outline high level integrated designs to meet these requirements, and align with enterprise strategy and related business architectures
- Leads planning sessions with customers to improve business processes and prioritize investments in data and infrastructure
- Proactively analyzes existing data structures or reporting to identify weaknesses and develop opportunities for improvements
- Develop and document data models to facilitate efficient and effective use of system connectivity and interfaces
- Manages multiple priorities of projects and requests
- Proposes appropriate changes to the enterprise data architecture to keep pace with Business and Market developments
- Demonstrates project management skills and may serve as a lead on projects
- Provides technical guidance, business process xpertise and technical leadership to team members
You Must Have:
- US Citizenship required in order to obtain and maintain US government security clearance
- Bachelors degree +5 years of experience or Certification + 5 years of experience
- 7 years if no Bachelor or Certification
We Value:
- Bachelor's degree , specialized training, certification, or five additional years of direct work experience in lieu of a Bachelors degree
- Has broad level industry knowledge and skills in relational databases, data quality, data governance, data integration, business intelligence reporting, and data visualization
- Experience with data management processes and tools like (Informatica, Microsoft Data Services, Microstrategy, Tableau, Denodo, Collibra)
- Knowledge of data quality, data management, data visualization, and predictive analytics concepts
- High level understanding of Big Data platforms and applications
- Advanced SQL knowledge
- Ability to work without supervision, given latitude for independent action, for decision making and for developing solutions
- Ability to read and comprehend technical documents, maintain accurate records, prioritize work and analyze problems to develop innovative and effective solutions
- Ability to identify appropriate level of team interactions to resolve issues and lead effective collaboration and meetings
- Advanced skill in identifying and resolving technical problems and effectively communicating the problems to vendors, customers, and team members
- Excellent communication skills with functional and technical peers, and ability to adapt message to both technical and non-technical audiences
- General knowledge of Cyber Security design requirements
- Ability to develop and communicate a technical vision that is easily understood by all levels of management
- Proven ability to mentor peers to better results and identify appropriate training to improve teams technical bench strength
