Media Technical Coordinator

At Captionmax, you will be part of a dedicated team working to make media accessible to a wide and inclusive audience. We provide accessibility solutions for leading organizations across many industries. Together, we provide the most complete suite of high quality, reliable solutions for media accessibility - making 3Play Media the new market leader.

As a Realtime (live) Coordinator, you will be entering an exciting career path within the media production industry. Each day is different with a live television structure where events cycle throughout the day with exposure to popular culture, sports news, and fresh content. You will work directly with clients and captioners to produce live captioning for programs on multiple networks.

DAY TO DAY:

• Responsible for scheduling, testing, monitoring, and overall coordinating of the closed caption data.
• Work closely with networks and businesses to ensure their programs are accessible to everyone with the highest quality captions by preparing our professional captioners.
• Monitor events and organize upcoming programs.
• Understanding of technology and broadcast communication is a plus, but the expectation is to build skills and experience within an always-learning environment.

WHO YOU ARE:

• Comfortable with Windows operating systems and applications
• Customer service personality with a positive demeanor
• Able to prioritize tasks to progress through daily activities with firm deadlines
• Detail-oriented when reviewing information and communicating requirements
• Collaborative in working with peers to balance task responsibilities
