Who you are:

  1. Required: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, digital media, or related area
  2. Required: Minimum 4+ years professional experience in digital marketing
  3. Required: Minimum 4+ years' experience utilizing marketing automation platforms such as Salesforce Pardot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Oracle Responsys, Oracle Eloqua, HubSpot, or Marketo
  4. Required: Knowledge & experience with Google Tag Manager
  5. Required: Ability to manage email marketing system
  6. Required: Solid knowledge of Google Analytics, along with SEM & SEO best practices
  7. Required: Basic working knowledge of HTML, CSS Coding
  8. Preferred: Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
  9. Understanding audience segmentation, targeting, and testing strategies
  10. Experience developing and designing responsive email copy
  11. Excellent written communication and quality assurance skills
  12. Self-starter with strong project management skills who can balance multiple priorities simultaneously

What you'll do:

The position is responsible for developing and supporting the credit union's digital marketing channels, including email marketing, website management and analytics, in-branch digital signage, digital advertising, search engine optimization and search engine marketing. Data-driven marketing is crucial in this role, as you'll use analytics & insight to take our digital marketing to the next level.

Essential Functions:

  • Supports marketing initiatives through development of digital marketing campaigns to drive member growth, retention & new member acquisition
  • Assists with developing segmentation and targeting strategies for email communications
  • Leads and manages member journeys, branded email marketing campaigns, email distribution calendars, databases, and lists
  • Collaborates with in-house team and digital agency to coordinate creation, implementation, and analytics of digital campaigns (search ads, display ads, landing pages & other web content)
  • Builds and manages email campaigns and marketing automation that are meaningful and engaging for members and prospects
  • Compiles data and creates monthly reports on key online marketing metrics to track success & monitor trends
  • Evaluates the needs and proactively makes recommendations to improve new member onboarding through the email channel
  • Identifies and implements A/B testing opportunities for continuous development and improvement towards member engagement
  • Owns technical aspects of the credit union's email marketing system, including scheduling emails, data management, and subscription lists
  • Assists with other marketing department needs across a broad spectrum of media, projects and events as assigned
  • Review website and email analytics reports to track trends and determine opportunities for optimization and improvements
  • Perform CRM database management, reporting and contact maintenance
  • Assist with designing, implementing and executing digital marketing and marketing automation programs
  • Continuously evaluate new, emerging digital marketing technologies and best practices with regards to marketing automation capabilities and testing
  • Identify and make recommendations on integration between platforms to create efficiencies
  • Ensure campaigns and all digital material meet internal standards of control and delivery and data regulations
