Wilson Elser's Boston office is currently seeking an experienced Defense Litigation Attorney.

This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys looking to take on engaging, substantive responsibilities as part of a defense team within a national firm. The attorney will work on a tight-knit, dynamic team alongside experienced attorneys.

The Position

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school
• Must be admitted to practice in Massachusetts
• Admittance in Rhode Island, Maine and New Hampshire preferred, but not required
• 5 + years of defense litigation experience
• Experience handling general liability, professional liability and/or products liability
• Excellent legal writing and communication skills
• Legal project management experience is helpful

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a caseload, working cases from beginning to end.
• Represent clients in a wide range of insurance defense claims
• Handle court appearances and conduct depositions
• Communicate with clients and provide status reports
