Introduction to the job
The scrum master will lead the enterprise applications IT team
towards the Agile methodology. You will align internal customers, product
owners, IT staff, and external consultants to help produce high quality, timely
releases to a variety of critical enterprise application systems. Your experience
and expertise is crucial as we make this organizational transition.
Role and responsibilities
- Use Jira and Jira Align to organize work into Epics, Features, and Stories.
- Attend and lead Agile ceremonies.
- Arrange and publish sprint schedules.
- Monitor backlog.
- Report on sprint status.
- Bring attention to impediments to progress.
- Evangelize Agile methodology principles as appropriate for the environment.
- Participate in Agile coaching.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education and experience
- Requires a Bachelor's Degree.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum 2 years leading Agile Teams.

- Expert proficiency with Jira and Jira Align.
- Experience with SAFe is highly preferred.
- Proficient in leading and executing Agile ceremonies.
- Strong English communication skills - both written and oral, ability to influence.
- Flexible interactions with people at various stages in their Agile journey.
- Patient coaching.
- Comfortable in addressing large, diverse groups.
- Highly organized and transparent.
- Can observe and respond to people and situations and interact with others encountered in the course of work.
- Can learn and apply new information or skills.
- Must be able to read and interpret data, information, and documents.
- Strong customer focus and commitment to customer satisfaction through prioritization, quality, efficiency and professionalism.
- Ability to complete assignments with attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
- Proven ability to perform effectively in a demanding environment with changing workloads.
- Result driven-demonstrate ownership and accountability.
- Identifies bottlenecks and drives improvements.
- Work independently or as part of a team and follow through on assignments with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrate open, clear, concise and professional communication.
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with co-workers and customer.
- Proficient use of all Microsoft Office suite programs.
