In this role, you will be working on a number of exciting projects by developing an internal design based component library and framework. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of modern web development, great attention to detail, experience working in a fast-paced team-oriented environment, and the drive to stay on the cutting edge by continuously learning new things and growing as a developer. A passion for design and accessibility standards is a plus.
Key Qualifications
  • Experience developing with React, Vue, or other similar modern frontend JavaScript frameworks
  • A mid-level understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  • An understanding of and ability to use Git
  • Experience building and shipping features across both backend and frontend
  • A solid grasp of client-side API interactions and asynchronous code
  • Ability to implement pixel-perfect designs
  • Experience in backend development and creating APIs
  • Familiarity with relational databases, and a level of comfort with reading and writing SQL queries
  • General understanding and familiarity with Docker
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
  • Bonus points for Mura CMS experience
Description
Develop a CMS component library based on Apple's design standards. Work across a multitude of web application projects using modern javascript frameworks such as Vue. Integrate with design and development frameworks. Collaborate with the development team , solutions managers and the design service steam to architect, design and implement elegant solutions. Develop adaptable interfaces. Develop accessible interactions. Collaborate with the design department to implement UX and UI concepts into fully functioning web applications. Fix bugs and respond to client support tickets. Occasionally explain technical concepts to non-technical partners. Occasionally present your work to internal or external stakeholders.
Education & Experience
BS in Computer Science or relevant.
