Job Description

The System Specialist IV is primarily responsible for analyzing and defining complex credit arrangements including loan documents, loan worksheets, and commitment reports. The System Specialist IV should be proficient with complex commercial structures such as rate option set-up, syndication/participation agreements, and tickler resolution/changes for new and renewed loans. The System Specialist IV is responsible for providing accurate resolutions to intricate research requests as well as maintaining and implementing current procedures in conjunction with system and technological changes.

The System Specialist IV should assist in planning, organizing, or implementing assigned projects which have a significant departmental impact as well as provide additional support for questions regarding Bank policy/procedure and regulatory questions/documentation which may affect loan structure or agreements. The System Specialist IV will handle new fundings for Syndication deals while working closely with business partners and investors to ensure accurate validation of necessary payments, fees, funding requests and final documents are executed within time sensitive requirements.

The System Specialist IV is expected to have expert knowledge of at least one primary loan system with exposure and introductory knowledge of all other loan systems in the Bank. The System Specialist IV should work closely with business partners including Compliance, Credit Administration, and Special Assets and assist in risk mitigation through accurate system maintenance and pro-active analysis.

How You'll Spend Your Time
  • You will be assigned your own portfolio of complex credit arrangements for research and analysis. You will use your advanced knowledge of consumer and commercial loan documentation, lending policies and procedures, and applicable laws to provide accurate resolutions and maintain procedures.
  • You will use your sound judgement to prioritize;consistently maintaining high levels of productivity and efficiency.
  • You will need exceptional verbal and written communication to express yourself clearly and concisely to business partners in Credit Administration, Compliance, and other internal departments.
Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through a Bachelor's Degree in Business and 5-6 years of work experience in Commercial/Consumer Lending or Loan Operations; or 11-12 years of equivalent experience.

  • Advanced knowledge of documentation requirements for all complex commercial and consumer loan types with the ability to interpret documentation specifications and implement those requirements into the loan system(s)
  • Advanced knowledge of consumer and commercial lending policy including interpretation and application of loan processing policies and procedures
  • Thorough knowledge of concepts, standards, and practices relating to government regulations and applicable laws such as TILA, RESPA, FCRA, SCRA, UDAAP AND BSA
  • Thorough knowledge of ACBS, ALS, REGIS, WITS and all other systems necessary to perform job functions
  • Thorough knowledge of GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley and other regulations and policies affecting loan operations and bank related operations
  • Excellent understanding of complex mathematical calculations and accounting principles as applied to loan processing
  • Knowledge of BOKF organization structure, specific regulations, policies and procedures applicable to consumer and commercial loan processing
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Ability to provide training in a constructive and effective manner with various levels of personnel
  • Excellent organizational skills and detail/task oriented
  • Excellent PC skills including word processing and spreadsheet applications
  • Excellent independent research and analysis skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and problem resolution ability
