Student Success Platform Services Manager

The Student Success Platform Manager (SSPM) works with academic and administrative business units on the strategic direction, management, and support of academic rigor, student outcomes, and student experience. The SSPM assists the business units to efficiently and effectively manage operations of the IT hardware and software requirements for the delivery of the advising and learning services. This incorporates responsibilities for reporting, data management and quality assurance of all interactions with students throughout academic program progression.This position offers a flexible work arrangement with the opportunity to work remote part of the week.



  • Manages strategic and operational aspects for application implementation, training, ongoing maintenance and support, enhancements, and customizations of CRM used for retention, success, and student experience
  • Ensures platform service levels are met by developing and implementing controls and guaranteeing incidents are being triaged and communicated efficiently Develops and implements of professional development sessions for teaching and advising staff
  • Ensures compliance of regulatory requirements in the compilation of data in preparation for reporting, analysis, and presentation
  • Participates in all phases of projects including development, design, and testing
  • Maintains current knowledge of industry trends and potential impact on the support business
  • Meets with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others, to solicit cooperation and resolve problems
  • Actively reviews and monitors reported incidents and defects. Investigates, resolves, and documents results
  • Maintains a high level of employee morale within the team


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or a related field required
  • Minimum of three years of analysis experience with CRM, preferably Salesforce, other administrative applications, business processes, enterprise systems, and databases
  • Demonstrated fluency in business processes and process differentiation
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize business requirements, including recognizing patterns and conceptualizing processes
  • Experience integrating outside applications (including cloud-based systems) with internal enterprise systems
  • Experience with Windows, Word, Excel, and Google applications
  • Strong desire to learn and work in a team environment striving toward a common goal
  • Knowledge, understanding, and acceptance of cultural differences and the diversity within the campus and community
  • Ability to understand and negotiate needs and expectations of multiple stakeholders
