Responsibilities

Day-to-day project management and client support for fast-paced, exciting pharmaceutical accounts, working with smart, engaged clients who appreciate attention to detail, creative and quick thinking and collaboration.

Account mix includes:

  • Product communications for rare neurological diseases, including support for data and regulatory milestones and internal communications
  • Unbranded disease state awareness and product communications for respiratory disease including: external/internal integrated communications, community/influencer engagement, celebrity partnership; support around data and regulatory milestones

Job responsibilities include:
  • Serve as point-of-contact for clients, providing proactive updates on deliverable status and execution
  • Lead development of external and internal communications, including press releases, key messages, website content, patient engagement content, video scripts, social media content, sponsored content and presentations for meetings, summits, planning, etc.
  • Manage project timelines and action plans, delegating work and supporting team operations
  • Support communications readiness/issues management/scenario planning
  • Regularly engage and collaborate with client business and agency partners, advocates, creative teams, vendors, media and other third parties
  • Oversee client MLR review and approval
  • Manage budgets and monthly billing processes
  • Mentor and coach junior team members

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum six years of experience in a professional environment within the healthcare public relations and/or communications industries (agency experience is preferred)
  • Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure in a fast-paced (but fun) environment, meeting internal and external deadlines
  • Understanding of FDA/regulatory agencies approval process and experience with scenario planning (preferred)
  • Experience in media relations, data communications, disease state awareness campaigns and corporate communications (preferred)
  • Strong project management skills, including team delegation, timeline and budget tracking, quality control and logistics planning (required)
  • An understanding of social media processes/tools/approach/regulations, corporate review processes, healthcare regulations/pharma industry and issues management (preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Maintain effective working relationships with clients, internal staff and third-parties
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who is adaptable/flexible, thrives in collaborative and fast-paced environments, and eager to learn new things
  • Must have strong attention to detail, excellent written and oral communication/presentation skills, including experience with client communication
