Responsibilities

The Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) will operate as the subject-matter expert on reimbursement, access, and coverage issues affecting the clients' product. Educate HCPs and their staff on matters related to reimbursement, access and coverage to facilitate appropriate patient access.

  • Analyze access/reimbursement issues and opportunities
  • Provide offices product access/reimbursement expertise
  • Provide access/reimbursement education to field teams
  • Coordinate on access/reimbursement issues with third parties including hubs
  • Support patient access to the products by providing subject matter expertise on reimbursement issues that may be barriers to product access

Job Requirements

Along with a results-oriented mindset, self-assurance and an engaging manner, the ideal candidate has:

  • BS/BA Degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum five years in field reimbursement, field sales, payer marketing, patient support programs and/or reimbursement hub programs
  • Extensive knowledge of payer and health systems
  • Knowledge of specialty pharmacy dynamics, buy and bill process and Medicare Parts A, B, C and D, as well as Medicaid and Commercial Payers
  • Demonstrated ability to educate offices on access and reimbursement processes
  • Exhibit competent understanding of hub activities

Interviews may be conducted in person at an on-site interview location. For any in person interviews, local COVID-19 safety guidelines will be followed.

However, in the event that I successfully obtain an exemption, I understand that it is highly unlikely that I will be able to adequately perform the essential functions of this position without imposing an undue hardship on Syneos Health due to the clients' demands.
