Sr. Fleet and Safety Analyst

Responsibilities

As a Sr. Fleet and Safety Analyst, you will focus on everything from reviewing Motor Vehicle Records, working with Operations, the support of driver safety and working directly with internal stakeholders, vendors, the field organization and corporate. You will help ensure we are driving initiatives that make our fleet more efficient and safer.

This position is responsible for reviewing all candidate and current fleet and allowance driver Motor Vehicle Records (MVRs), managing all aspects of fleet, and managing the analytics, reporting and support related to the fleet of approximately 4,000 vehicles following required policy and procedures.

Functions as the subject matter expert in everything fleet related:

Scope of Interactions:

  • 50% External - New and existing clients, and vendors
  • 50% Internal - Collaboration with Operations, Risk, HR, Sales, Corporate, Payroll, BD, and team members

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage and analyze all new hire candidate drivers MVRs to ensure they meet our driving record guidelines
  • Develop thorough knowledge of the fleet policies and how it applies to driver safety and responsibility
  • Manages the spouse/domestic partner driver qualification program and assessment
  • Provide support to the Operations team as a Subject Matter Expert for fleet process, procedures, and policies
  • Develop periodic reports of relevant, compelling, and succinct information and metrics
  • Monitor camera violations and assign points as needed
  • Audit secondary driver report to ensure drivers are receiving proper personal use deductions
  • Collaborate with stakeholder groups to manage the requirements of the pre and new hire process
  • Follow up with employees where the driver's license state does not match state of residence
  • Manage compliance for driver safety and policy training and escalating to leadership when necessary
  • Manage and review the car allowance driver MVRs and training
  • Manages programs to ensure compliance within safety and maintenance procedures
  • Responsible for replies to shared email boxes concerning safety, fleet questions and status
  • Proactive tracking of safety recalls
  • Research the potential fleet vehicle selection for safety ratings and maintenance stability
  • Audit data to ensure that it is accurate for reporting and inclusion in the data lake
  • Look for potential improvements in all aspects of the operation - accidents, safety, and fleet management, for any kind of opportunity
  • Troubleshoot data feed entry errors with key internal groups
  • Manage safety reviews and medical exceptions and automate processes and procedures
  • Develop project plans, track progress, and develop deliverables and implement changes
  • Provide backup for other fleet team roles when needed
  • Ensure adherence to fleet policies and procedures
  • Special projects as assigned

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent training and work experience

Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years of fleet experience
  • Solid understanding and experience with MVRs & fleet required
  • Intermediate/Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel data formulas, charts, pivot tables and V-Lookup functions and the ability to learn new or proprietary systems
