Headquartered in Worcester, Massachusetts, with branch office located in Cromwell, World Energy is primarily focused on serving commercial, industrial, and municipal customers in Southern New England. This position will report to the Worcester headquarters.

Job Description:

Are you passionate about doing your part to help reduce carbon emissions and enhance corporate sustainability? We are seeking an Energy Specialist who is excited about World Energy's value proposition. A strategic, critical thinker, hunter and master of sales, the Energy Specialist will drive the growth of World Energy's project pipeline through targeted direct sales to multi-site industrial, commercial, institutional, and public sector customers. The Energy Efficiency Specialist will be responsible for conducting energy audits, submitting paperwork to the utility company for incentives, and presenting the project to the client. World Energy Efficiency Services will provide marketing and technical support; the Energy Efficiency Specialist also will be responsible for prospecting and networking to develop business opportunities.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual who is able to tap into their Northeast market expertise and engage key partners from day one. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of exceeding sales targets in the energy efficiency, renewable energy, EV charging, battery storage or other relevant industries.

Our office is located in Worcester MA. The position will require local travel throughout Massachusetts to visit customers, conduct on-site assessments, and propose projects via a consultative sales process to close deals.

• On-site auditing of lighting and/or mechanical systems
• Develop reports and customer proposals
• File all project documents
• Network within industry
• Cultivate and build customer relationships
• Develop/maintain relationships with key vendors

Skills/Qualifications:

• Experience conducting energy efficiency audits
• Excellent written / verbal communication and documentation abilities.
• Excellent customer service skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other office application tools.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field
• 2-5 years' experience in Lighting or Mechanical sales
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
