The Quality Assurance group at AIP is a close-knit group of 12 to 15 QA Automation/SDET's that helps deliver best in class products and services to both internal and external consumers. This role will report to the Manager-Quality Assurance
QA supports testing of all our products
Tests across web applications, web portals, customer integrations, and vendor product integrations
End to end testing; in production to go live
QA deployments-UAT, pre and post environments
QA environment:
80% automation, 20 % manual
Automation framework and platform: Selenium with BDD for UI and Karate and Postman for API (Javascript)
Cross browser testing (BrowserStack), validation testing across different devices (phone devices, tablets, etc.) and across operating systems
Testing on: Majorly API's, stress testing, performance, mobile, UI/UX, validation testing, and ADA testing.
Automation framework and platform: Selenium with BDD for UI and Karate and Postman for API (Java Script)
Work Scope:
This successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software solutions. This includes the definition of test strategies, test plans, test automation, and test execution through to final production deployment. The ideal candidate will be customer focused, have an automation first mindset and demonstrate a solid understanding of all types of testing in a distributed application environment.
Sr. QA will lead assigned projects along with 4-5 QA engineers; review both manual and automation test cases of QA engineers and validate if and when needed; recommend alternative automation solutions where needed
Lead bug triage and root cause analysis
Development of Complex function, framework updating and optimization
Automating API's though Karate and BrowserStack
Work examples
Create and maintain testing plans for services in Jira and Xray.
Create and maintain a python testing framework for web and mobile applications using selenium and browser stack.
Create and maintain a testing framework for APIs using tools such as Karate, Postman, Scala, Kafka, SQL and Selenium UI.
Maintain the continuous integration (buildkite) steps for automation.

Work Environment & Physical Demands
AIP is a remote-first company, however our roles are open to in-office or flex work if you live in a city with a physical office location (when it is safe to return to the office). This role has the opportunity to operate 100% virtually from your home office. We primarily collaborate with our US colleagues through virtual meetings (Zoom), email, and Slack. In this role, you will be required to operate a laptop computer (PC or Mac available), computer software platforms, and other office productivity machinery as necessary. Due to the nature of this role, you must be able to remain stationary for extended periods, and must be able to observe and interpret written and/or verbal communication.
