Junior Software Engineer

FTE- Remote- US

The Position

Are you passionate about building solutions using the latest cloud technologies and current development best practices? Do you enjoy solving complex problems with innovative and well-crafted software? . The idealcandidatewilltake pragmatic and iterative approach to building software;have an ability to simplify and get things done.The ability to absorb new technologies and the skill to leverage them to the maximum extent is a key component of this position.

Requirements

• 2+ years' experience in software development
• 1+ year experience with at least one modern programming language such as C, C++, Java,PythonorGo
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
• Equivalent experience to abachelor'sdegree based on 3 years of work experience for every 1 year of education

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and automation.
• Works effectively in small team, under leadership of a senior team member, to complete assigned tasks at product/module/competent levels in atimely manner.
• Proposes low-level designfor task-level assignments, offers recommendations for broader design topics. Strong problem-solving skills and communication.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple functions, learn quickly and escalate, when necessary, follows established development best practices, including unit testing and other established DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of AWS and microservices architectures.
