About this Position:
We are the Digital Product Team for the distinguished Honda Finance and Acura Finance websites, the customer service agent console and other digital tools. We are looking for a Product Manager to champion art of possible, product strategy, UX, development, launch and operations support to enable customers, associates and dealers through a family of digital products.

This critical leader directly manages product owners and UX resources while also leading agile scrum teams and engaging development, marketing, legal and other business / IT stakeholders in a large matrix organization. You will use your creativity to build a roadmap of ideas aimed at transforming next generation capabilities. You are deeply detail focused as exemplary product is the sum of thoughtful decisions via delivered initiatives large and small, aligned to AHFC and AHM missions. Your team maintains operational excellence, ensuring we keep the lights on for AHFC business continuity. You are comfortable with ambiguity and quickly flex to iterate on research, feedback and changing conditions. You use outstanding written and verbal multidisciplinary communication skills to engage subject matter experts through executive stakeholders. A strong plus, you have experience within the financial services or captive finance industry.

Responsibilities include:

This role oversees Digital Products, such as:
* HONDA AND ACURA FINANCE WEBSITES
Expand self-service functionality to enable customers to easily manage their accounts online
* SERVICE CONSOLE
Nationwide AHFC customer service representatives use this critical application to serve customer requests
* AGENT KNOWLEDGE
Content that summarizes standard processes to help customer service representatives understand how best to do their jobs
* CUSTOMER COMMUNICATIONS
Customer communications via all channels, including message center, email, SMS, web notifications, banner notifications and partner managed messages
* MARKETING CLOUD PLATFORM
Care and feeding of technical platform and templates that enable customer communications

ABOUT THE TEAM
Our rapidly growing product team is called Innovation and Digital DevOps (IDDO) unit. We are part of the Business Technology Solutions (BTS) Department within AHM Captive Finance IT (CF IT) Division. We serve American Honda Finance Corporation (AHFC), a world class captive finance organization which finances automobile, power sports, power equipment, jet and insurance offerings for American Honda Motor (AHM).

Who we are seeking:

Required Work Experience:



  • 5-7 years of leadership experience, managing mixed teams: business / IT, internal / external, onshore / nearshore / offshore
  • 2 years of Financial Services or Automotive Industry experience preferred
  • Experience driving procurement process from identification of options, evaluations and RFI/RFP selection of tools and vendors preferred
  • Experience as former or current AHFC customer preferred
  • 5-8 years of product management, development, operations or UX experience
  • Experience with AHFC tool set preferred
  • Salesforce admin certification (else ability to gain certification in year 1); Developer skills not required
  • Mobile and web services (Amazon Web Services, Azure)
  • Familiarity with Legacy applications: CASS, RMS, Mainframe, MQ and Client-server
  • Ability to inspire art of the possible to improve upon status quo
  • Ability to influence executive management with effective verbal and written communications; Strength in advocacy of business/IT needs and user experience
  • Development of business cases, product roadmaps, project plans and budgets


Required Education:
* BA/BS degree
* Agile certification for Product Owner or Scrum Master (prefer SAFE Agile)

Total Rewards:

* Competitive Base Salary: $111,100 - $166,600

Pay will be based on several variables that include, but not limited to geographic location, work experience, education, etc.
