Senior Software Engineer

Your Opportunity:Taylor Corporation is looking for a Senior Software Engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software

• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables

• Provide coaching and guidance to technical staff members under their responsibility

• Perform HR duties for technical staff members under their responsibility

Minimum Qualifications:

• 8+ years of professional software development experience

• Understanding of what creates high quality, maintainable code

• Experience managing technical staff

• Proficient with OOP and SOLID principles

• Proficient with ASP.NET web forms

• Proficient with .NET Core

• Proficient with SQL Server

• Proficient with MongoDB or other NoSQL document databases

• Proficient with Web APIs

• Proficient with Azure services especially Azure Functions and Azure App Services

• Working knowledge of automated testing (i.e. unit, integration, and end-to-end)

• Understanding of Continuous Delivery/Deployment (CD)

• Fluent in English and C#

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience developing user-facing software

• Experience with web standards, including HTML and CSS

• Experience with cloud services (i.e. Azure, AWS, Google)
