Summary:

Be part of the exciting digital automation transformation taking place at Advisor Group! One will have the opportunity to be part of the initial team to rollout Robotic Processing Automation (RPA) and make significant contributions to the experiences of our Financial Professionals and Home Office staff through designing strategic roadmaps that set the future course for digital automation in the coming years.

The primary responsibility of this role is to support the program area and governance of the RPA Center of Excellence (CoE). We are looking for someone who is passionate, self-motivated, driven and has experience in RPA governance, architecture, design, and implementation that seeks to make an impactful difference in the way we do business.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead/participate in the feasibility analysis of business processes and recommend automation options
  • Coordinate with multiple internal teams/customers at all levels on projects, priorities, and activities where RPA is leveraged and/or considered
  • Provide continued support of established Automation and their maintenance, including business support and co-ordination with stakeholders to resolve support issues.
  • Ensures RPA processes are running to their full effectiveness, able to analyze & optimize processes (Bot Insights)
  • Develop & Maintain BOT Agents, infrastructure (control room servers, Database) and ensure efficiency in BOTs utilization providing cost benefits & savings.
  • Facilitate and lead the RPA governance process and executing governance requirements at AG
  • Provide UAT testing support
  • Articulate the implications of design/architectural decisions.
  • Develop dashboards, reporting and metrics to drive process improvement and improve service
  • Create weekly status reports or conduct sprint demos and retrospectives as required
  • Escalate issues and impediments daily that impact benefit, time, cost or quality to management
  • Develop, document and implement timely countermeasures to problems/risks

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required. Business of Information Management Bachelor's preferred.
  • Relevant RPA certifications (Automation Anywhere or UIPath or Blue Prism).

Basic Requirements:

  • Experience in programming and scripting (including API development) (Java/.Net/JS/VBS/JavaScript/Python/Powershell) is desired.
  • Solid understanding of BOT infrastructure and Robotic Operating Model.
  • Experience in robust automation design best practices and building solution design documents
  • Ability to interpret complex technical publications, diagrams, and project specifications
  • Job requires Expert attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
  • Advanced logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
  • Expert communication to others to convey information effectively as well as communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
  • Expert knowledge of and ability to utilize processes, tools, and techniques for detecting, addressing, and preventing fraudulent situations.
  • Intermediate knowledge of functions features and applications of Microsoft Office; ability to use the cross-functional features of its applications to enhance overall organizational efficiency.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience in the RPA platform functionalities with strong coding/development in any of the RPA tools like Automation Anywhere (highly preferred) or UiPath or Blue Prism.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and DevOps is desired.
  • Basic knowledge of financial services industry trends, directions, major issues, regulatory considerations, and trendsetters; ability to provide specific financial knowledge and experience to help organizational development.
  • PowerBI, Google Looker or other data visualization experience
  • Understanding of ITIL & CMDB tools and processes
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies/tools
