Your Opportunity:

Labeling Solutions, a Taylor Corporation Company, is looking for a Scheduler to join our team in Radcliff, KY!

Shift Available



  • Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm


Responsibilities Include:



  • Track equipment load levels/backlogs to determine most effective method of sequencing job runs.
  • Schedule incoming orders into the production plan to meet requested completion date.
  • Respond to special scheduling requests of account representatives; project time frames for completion of pending orders. Apprise account representatives of any scheduling changes affecting their job runs and keep them posted on current production status of their orders.
  • Respond to concerns of production staff regarding scheduling decisions. Interface with production and sales to resolve scheduling conflicts, maintaining tact and diplomacy in conflict situations.
  • Prioritize job runs. Commit jobs to specific ship dates. Determine when and how to interject rush orders into the work schedule. Involve Production Manager as necessary.
  • Process related paperwork; match copy folders to tickets, assign codes and initiate/complete change forms, work schedules, produce labels, etc.
  • Follow through on all details pertaining to materials, equipment and staffing availability before finalizing run schedules.
  • Attend scheduling meetings and assist plate maker in delivering order samples to sales staff.
  • Maintain up-to-date reports and logs.
  • Maintain Run X Times spreadsheet and communicate with manufacturing manager and plant manager when overruns are considered, conduct monthly physical inventory and attend monthly CI meetings.
  • Communicate with the plate maker to as the need of plates for production.


Minimum Qualifications:



  • Ability to provide proof of High School Diploma or GED.
  • Two years related prepress, scheduling or printing industry experience (flexo presses, digital print and finishing etc.)
  • Good verbal and written communication skills required for interaction with all levels of management, sales and production staff
  • Knowledge of printing production equipment and processes
  • Computer skills for system entry
  • Ability to determine scheduling needs
  • Good listening skills
  • Ability to interpret detailed reports/instructions
  • Ability to work under pressure of deadlines/interruptions
  • Time management/planning and organizational skills
  • Decision making skills
  • Ability to establish/maintain cooperative working relationships
  • Basic math skills including fractions, decimals, etc.
  • Ability to work independently to accomplish productions schedules
  • Demonstrated record of consistently good attendance/punctuality


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Post high school printing training or equivalent experience
