American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), located in Washington, DC, is a membership organization dedicated to improve the lives of all people seeking obstetric and gynecologic care, their families, and communities is currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will develop, design, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified talent for the organization. They will be responsible for positively positioning ACOG so that qualified recruits pursue opportunities with the organization. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will create accurate and compelling recruitment programs and materials based on the needs of the organization.

Responsibilities

    Responsible to execute full-cycle recruitment including identifying, sourcing, and engaging both passive and active candidates through creative and innovative recruitment tactics.
  • Gather, prepare, interpert and analyze a variety of employment data relating to advertising effectiveness, turnover, minority employment, recruiting campaigns and related items as required.
  • Plan and conduct college or advanced degree recruiting programs and internships.
  • Actively manage Key Performance Indicators by developing and analyzing key metrics to ensure the goals are met and/or exceeded.
  • Deliver high-quality service to internal customers by matching employee skills with customer needs.
  • Develop and create new job postings that clearly outline the needs of the jobs being filled and generate interest and applications from qualified recruits.
  • Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through ongoing relationship management and demonstrate the ability to anticipate the hiring manager's preferences.
  • Leverage social media and job posting boards to highlight the company and attract the right talent.
  • Develop, streamline, and roll out processes for end-to-end candidate experience including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
  • Responsible to follow up with any related clerical aspects of recruiting to ensure requisitions are completed efficiently and are authorized.
  • Maintain requisition and hiring statistics for preparation of weekly reports on candidate hiring cycle and recruiting-related activities.
  • Continually recruit candidates for potential positions by identifying key skills and capabilities that meet the company's contract requirements.
  • Make competent use of recruiting tools to accomplish multiple tasks.
  • Strong clients focus and commitment to continuous improvement, ability to proactively network and establish relationships.
  • Manage multiple priorities in a high-paced and fast-changing environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field required.
  • Minimum of 5 years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process required.
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
  • SHRMs Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Direct experience functioning in recruiting role with iCIMS or ADP.
