M365 Security & Compliance G5 Technical Lead - Remote

KPMG is currently seeking a M365 Security & Compliance G5 Technical Lead to join our Digital Nexus organization. This is a remote work opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the technical implementation and delivery of the M365 Security & Compliance G5 technologies including Information Governance & Protection, Insider Risk, eDiscovery, MCAS, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Data Loss Prevention, Audit, Data Lifecycle Management and Compliance Management: Including efficiently integrating and managing any new additional M365 Security & Compliance G5 technologies across the data landscape
  • Support KPMG efforts and adopt the M365 Security & Compliance G5 technologies with emphasis in continuous migration support and support of implementations
  • Support and implement net-new M365 Security & Compliance G5 features through automation using DevOps, Github and any other scripting technologies and tools; integrate security standards and processes into daily work to meet and sustain compliance with GCC high secure practices; utilize technical expertise to identify and recommend service and functional improvements
  • Baseline M365 security posture configuration and champion effort to increase published tenant security score
  • Research and maintain knowledge of M365 Security & Compliance G5 technologies, including licensing, costing, operations, scalability/architecture and security features and capabilities
  • Document system configurations, standards and procedures concerning the logical integrations and relationship mapping of inter-dependencies within the M365 Security & Compliance G5 suite landscape

Qualifications:

  • Minimum five years of recent professional experience with at least four years of experience in M365 security and compliance suite engineering
  • Strong knowledge and experience in M365 Security & Compliance and Microsoft Purview such as Information Governance & Protection, Insider Risk, eDiscovery, MCAS, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Data Loss Prevention, Data Lifecycle Management, Audit, Compliance Management or comparable data governance, management, and security products
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience
  • Working knowledge of JSON, Powershell, JavaScript, CSS and KQL (Kusto Query language)
  • Experience designing and implementing integrations between Microsoft compliance solutions and Microsoft Security workloads such as Defender for Cloud Apps and AVD Endpoint
  • Experience in government cyber control programs such as FedRamp, CMMC and NIST 800-53 Moderate
  • US Citizenship is required
