Job Summary:

The Customer Solutions and Strategy Intern will develop skills and experience while supporting activities related to customer solution and strategy efforts within Tenaska Marketing Ventures (TMV).

Essential Job Functions:



  • Support activities related to customer reporting and data requests.
  • Support activities related to TMV's online Customer Connect Portal.
  • Assists in the implementation of services in support of TMV's customers.
  • Assist in marketing, branding, customer communications and engagement efforts. Including preparation and delivery of customer presentations and proposals.
  • Serves as a brand ambassador and promotes a best-in-class customer experience.
  • Provides timely resolution for issues as they may arise.
  • Communicates to supervisor and team and can prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Reliable, dependable, and predictable attendance is required.


Education/Experience/Skills

Basic Requirements:



  • Current enrollment in a fully accredited bachelor's or master's degree in marketing, engineering, accounting, or business field.


Preferred Requirements:



  • Proficient at MS Excel
  • Detailed and organized
  • Self-motivated, team player
  • Excellent oral and written skills
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0


Physical Demands:

Ability to use standard office equipment such as PC, telephone, calculator, printer, copymachines. Position may require extended work hours on short notice. All work will be performed in an indoor office environment and may require extended periods of sitting, standing and bending and typing/data entry.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

The job will require sitting in an indoor office environment, the need to visually read various written materials including, but not limited to paper documents and computer monitors. The job may also require standing, bending, walking, lifting up to 10 lbs., carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, kneeling, crouching, driving, and airline travel. The incumbent will have the ability to use standard office equipment such as PC, printer, telephone, calculator, and copy and fax machines. Travel required to meetings in other office buildings including local and domestic.
