API Support Engineer

Cisco Cloud Security Group is at the forefront of developing cloud-delivered security needs and challenges of our customers. We have a highly scalable cloud infrastructure spread across 25 data centers where we run applications that operate at hyperscale - 100B+ requests per day from 65M daily active users.

Who You Are

• You have experience building and operating APIs
• You are comfortable programming/scripting in Python and/or bash.
• You have experience with debugging front-end applications and APIs

What You'll Do

• you will implement and maintain an API that supports a key Cisco product.
• you will help implement front-end microapp that use these APIs
• you will help run the infrastructure for Policy API and it's components
• you will help us improve the system, increase testing, monitoring and make everything more robust
• you will go on-call on a rotational basis
