Business Analytics Manager

About the Role:

We are looking for a Business Analytics Manager to oversee business analytics projects and processes to provide data-driven insights related to business performance used to advise and develop strategies for operational improvements and future business initiatives. This role will utilize business performance data, industry trends, competitor intelligence, and customer information to develop analytical tools, models, and reports across the organization to inform and support decision-making. The Analytics Manager will partner with the executional teams to plan and forecast budgets and promotional plans. The Business Analytics Manager's responsibilities also include budget tracking and management across various teams, as well as product performance analysis and overall accounting.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends and patterns in complex data sets from multiple sources to inform project, product, and promotions planning.
  • Apply quantitative data analysis techniques to uncover inefficiencies in various processes and develop optimization solutions
  • Communicate analytical findings and business insights to diverse audiences
  • Proactively identify opportunities for predictive modeling and other use cases/business needs that would benefit from analytical solutions
  • Develop KPIs, metrics, reports, dashboards, and benchmarks to gain insight into project performance
  • Develop tools to identify data quality issues and partner with data owners on creating solutions for continuous improvement of data integrity, consistency, and accuracy
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in product and project data interpretation
  • Budget forecasting, tracking and management

Requirements:

  • BS degree in finance, mathematics, statistics, data analytics, or computer science
  • 5+ years' experience in budget management and data analytics
  • In-depth knowledge and practical application of variety of data analysis, predictive modeling methodologies and forecasting
  • Experience with budget forecasting and management
  • Experience with automation and deployment of analytical tools and applications
  • In-depth knowledge of database design concepts and data modeling principles
  • Knowledge of data management and data quality control
  • Demonstrated experience in translating complex technical information into business insights and recommendations
