Position: Nurse Supervisor
Salary: $57,000 - $67,000 annually
(Starting salary depends on education and experience)
RESPONSIBILITIES: Assess, monitor, and treat clients daily. Respond to client injury or illness as needed. Work closely with all medical staff. Conduct admission and wellbeing assessments. May facilitate scheduling of medical, dental, and eye appointments and ensure those needs are met. Ensure all patient charts and related documentation is maintained, current, and relevant at all times. Delegate authority and assign responsibilities and manage work schedules of department staff. Provide hands-on leadership to the nursing department team. Oversee lab clinic. May perform on-site rapid testing, EKGs and phlebotomy blood draws as needed. Participate in departmental meetings. Process doctor's orders and work closely with the pharmacy. Deliver Medication Administration Training and Recertification training according to Missouri Coalition guidelines. Serve as subject matter expert for medication training information as needed. Maintain and
provide monthly reports of Key Performance indicators
QUALIFICATIONS: Certified in behavior management techniques and CPR. Proficient in basic medical and assessment skills - taking vitals, applying first aid and collecting lab specimens. Excellent oral/written communication skills. Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task. Ability to build relationships with clients. May be required to be competent in waived testing. Proven ability to be self-directed and self-starter. Ability to interact directly with staff to determine best training and documentation of competencies. Education Level: Professional state licensure (e.g. RN, LPN/LVN etc.). Other minimum requirements: BLS. Years of Experience: 3 to 5 years. Must pass a background check, physical and drug screening. This position also requires a valid driver's license and proof of current vehicle insurance.
