The Team

As a member of the Operational Excellence team, you'll help make sure the entire Arity team is enabled and empowered to get things done! It's our job to ensure Arity is an industry leader both in terms of the products we offer, and by the way in which we deliver and deploy them to our customers. Job Summary

The Scrum Master is the facilitator and coach for multiple Agile teams, responsible for helping the teams and management embrace Agile values, apply principles, and implement Agile best practices. They reinforce and support the team rules within the Scrum framework or other process rules the team has agreed upon including Definition of Ready (DoR) and the Definition of Done (DoD). The Scrum Master helps the teams foster an environment for high-performance, continuous flow, and relentless improvement. They understand common Agile anti-patterns and utilize a variety of techniques and methods to address them.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coaches cross-functional teams in Agile best practices and scrum values
  • Leads Scrum events including daily stand-ups, backlog refinements, planning sessions, and sprint reviews, all while guarding and reinforcing agreed upon processes and best practices for multiple scrum teams
  • Actively contributes to teams achieving their goals and delivering measurable business value, employing techniques to guard focused priorities and encourage relentless improvement
  • Takes the initiative to understand, anticipate, and resolve team blockers; successfully manages impediments and cross-team dependencies to ensure the success of Arity as a whole
  • Regularly contributes to and helps improve our Scrum Master community
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 or more years of experience working closely with a software agile team
  • Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of Agile values and principles, the Scrum framework, DevOps best practices, and servant leadership
  • Practical experience applying and coaching agile principles in real-world team scenarios on teams of differing maturity levels; identifying and correcting antipatterns and striving to develop high-performing teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex information across various levels of the enterprise
  • Excellent facilitation skills and ability to foster collaboration across diverse groups of individuals
  • CSM or other relevant certification preferred

Compensation offered for this role is$68,500.00-$121,375.00 per yearand is based on experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
