General Purpose and Scope of Position:

CropSights is a new digital software platform by Wilbur-Ellis that helps growers improve decision-making and unlock more value from their specialty crops. CropSights provides simple, easy-to-access insights across field health, input tracking, field activities, regulatory compliance, and more.

Wilbur-Ellis is seeking a Marketing and Sales Enablement Specialist to 1) support and collaborate with the regional teams offering CropSights to Wilbur Ellis customers and 2) prepare new regions for a successful product launch. This individual will help build and execute the training curriculum, sales support tools, and KPI tracking among other activities.

Specific Responsibilities Include:



  • As part of the CropSights Go-to-Market team, create and execute regionally tailored tactics and campaigns to launch, support, and grow CropSights
  • Build regional launch plans

    • Collaborate with local leadership to build and monitor sales funnels
    • Tailor marketing materials to specific market needs
    • Support market research efforts to align grower needs with CropSights benefits
    • Lead and/or support targeted analysis to inform GTM approach (e.g., market sizing, price sensitivity)


  • Execute and support local promotion and sales capability building

    • Prepare and customize training curriculum and support virtual and in-person training for regional sales teams
    • Develop tailored responses to team and customer's objections and questions
    • Share best practices and gather feedback
    • Track and help report KPI's


  • Enable and support customer service and success

    • Build and refine customer success tools to enable local teams to effectively help customers adopt CropSights
    • Oversee and improve grower onboarding and customer success processes
    • Ensure open communication, data sharing, and an ability to solve grower needs with CropSights technology
    • Collaborate with the Customer Support team to understand platform usage patterns and help guide efforts to improve user adoption


  • Develop strong relationships and communication with regional leadership teams


Skills and Experience Required:



  • 2 or more years of strong marketing, sales support, and problem-solving experience
  • Experience with training and marketing to support digital products or ag technology, is desired but not required
  • High level of skill with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong ownership and bias for action; ability to internalize goals and work independently to create appropriate action plans for those goals
  • Meticulous attention to detail; ability to juggle many tasks in parallel
  • Knowledge of software as a service (SAAS) marketing, positioning, and sales desired
  • Demonstrated cross-functional collaboration
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and presentation skills, including the use of PowerPoint to develop and present compelling presentations
  • BA/BS required


Work Conditions:



  • Moderate travel (up to 35%) and attendance at meetings will be required
  • Proficiency with computer usage and appropriate software required


Compensation and Benefits:



  • In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $70,000 to $85,000. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and vacation, holidays, health, dental, vision, mental health, retirement plans, and other benefits.
